About Us
Sara Orr-Doan and Lance Orr-Doan (Owners)
Sara Orr-Doan ( Certified Lead Groomer and Certified Dog Trainer) and Lance Orr-Doan are the Founders and Owners of SoLo Paws Grooming and Training. Sara has over 20 years of pet care experience. She and her husband first opened up SoLo Paws in September of 2021 and became a success! They are located in the Blacksburg and Christiansburg area.

Evan Wood ( General Manager, Certified Lead Groomer, Certified Dog Trainer)
Evan Joined the SoLo Paws Team June of 2023.
He previously worked as a welder in the New River Valley. Evan has been an avid animal lover and has been around animals his whole life. He currently has a rescue cate named Penny and his childhood dog, Tessa. Penny was 7 years old when she was rescued from Radford Animal Shelter. In his free time, Evan loves playing video games, listening to music and watching movies. Evan also enjoys spending outside and traveling to new places.
Gracie Opazo (Grooming Assistant)
Gracie Joined the SoLo Paws Team August 2024. Gracie is from Blacksburg, Va. Gracie uses the pronouns they/them. Gracie has three rescued dogs and rescued two cats ranging from all different sizes. They have worked in retail and want to explore what grooming has to offer! Gracie's hobbies include art, watching videos, traveling and playing video games. They are thrilled to be a part of this team!
